Magistrate of Children and Adolescent’s Court admitted direct appearance of adolescent minor
The Third Judge of Children and Adolescent’s Court of Pichincha accepted that adolescents – pursuant to the provisions of the Code for Children and Adolescents – can appear in court on behalf of their recognizance, without their parents’ involvement, in order to defend their rights.
