Human Rights Academy, Washington College Law, American University

During May and June, María Cristina Ponce Villacís, member of our firm, attended the Human Rights Academy of Washington College of Law at the American University. During her stay she attended some panels and conferences given by judges of the International Court of Justice, International Penal Court, and Inter-American Court of Human Rights, by representatives of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, and by special reporters of the United Nations, among other personalities in the international area of human rights. Some of said speakers are also professors at the Academy. The American University offers one of the best human rights programs worldwide.
