Valeria Dueñas Martínez de la Vega

Associate lawyer with the firm. Throughout her career, Valeria has defended her clients against abusive practices in the administration of taxes. Her knowledge of this field has allowed her to obtain results which have permanently changed the procedures used in Ecuadorian Internal Revenue Service audits. Her experiences in the field of taxes have given her a deep understanding of accounting which has allowed for more meaningful relationship with both auditors and accountants. This has been particularly important in her role as staff attorney for the firm’s most important clients, allowing her to bring great experience in handling business situations such as mergers and acquisitions. Valeria studied at Universidad de las Américas and did other complimentary studies in accounting in various centers. Languages: Spanish, English and French.
