Roque Albuja Izurieta

He was the first lawyer in Ecuador to institute precautionary measures of intellectual property based on the precepts of ADPIC, the World Trade Organization and the relevant parts of the procedure for preventive orders, established for debtors in the Civil Procedure Code. Afterwards a regulation to Decision 344 of the Cartagena Agreement embraced such system that currently enshrines the Intellectual Property Law.
