Juan Mateo Borrero Brauer

Associate lawyer with the firm. During the last five years he has worked with Alejandro Ponce Villacís, with much of his practice being related to litigation. He is known for his work on cases related to the financial and administrative aspects of the liquidation of financial institutions. His special interest in the development of and respect for due process, both in law and management processes, has ensured his particular success in defending his clients. Additionally, Mateo has focused his practice on defending cases of Damages Law, a relatively un-developed area of law in Ecuador. Mateo studied at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
