APPEAL FOR THE REVOCATION OF THE ARBITRAL AWARD IN THE CASE FILED BY REPSOL YPF ECUADOR S. A. AGAINST INTERNATIONAL SECURITY SOCIETYSEG CIA. LTDA.

In the ordinary claim for annulment of the arbitral award, the Chamber of Civil, Commercial and Family Matters of the National Court of Justice rejected the appeal for cassation filed by REPSOL YPF DEL ECUADOR S. A. on the grounds that its purpose is to challenge the ruling of the ordinary claim and procedural annulments that occurred in its processing, but not the previous arbitration proceedings, as well as the legality of the verdict, but not the comprehensive review of the process, or the assessment of evidence, which are exclusive powers of the pertinent instance courts.
